Buttered Beef Tips
3 pounds cubed beef1/2 C Butter
1 (1 oz.) envelope dry onion mix
Place the Beef and Butter in the crockpot (don't run out of crockpot liners like I did). Sprinkle the Onion Soup Mix over the top. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 to 5. Stir once or twice.
Serve over egg noodles or with rice.
Ok, atfer cooking this I have to add some notes. They flavor was ok. Nothing to get excited about but edible. However, the cooking time (at least on my crockpot) was way off. That picture was only after 4 hours on low and the meat was cooked. Really cooked. I turned it off and just kept it on warm but the meat was done. So just keep that in mind if you try this one.
I thought cooking for "slackers" meant easy meals, not that you wouldn't post in a week. ;o) Sheesh, I wanted to see some reviews!
