Hani's Dinner

Hani brought us dinner tonight. So sweet. She even had comapny in town and still managed to make and bring us a meal. Thank you so much Hani.

She made us a pasta salad that was delish. And the coolest thing anyone has done. When asked about bringing meals the only thing we requested was no mushrooms. Steve and I don't like them and the girls have never purposefully had them. Well K has recently started showing signs of either an allergy or just a very bad reaction to tomatoes. But we hadn't mentioned that other then just some passing at a playdate. Hani is so thoughtful. She paid attention to that and when she made us dinner she made a salad with tomatoes but set a little aside for K without any tomatoes. How sweet is that.

Hani made us a Hamburger Pie. It looked so pretty. Almost too good to eat.

And the inside.

And she made us some chocolate pudding which was loved by all. I just forgot to get a shot of it. LOL

ETA: Her recipes.

Hamburger Pie

Brown and drain 1 lb. hamburger
Mix in a can of undiluted tomato soup and a can of green beans, drained
Pour the mixture into a deep dish pie crust and top with a second crust, then bake according to the directions in your recipe for a two crust pie, or if you're like me, from the bag the crust came in.
Let it sit for ten minutes after it comes out of the oven, then dig in!

Just in case someone wanted the recipe for the salad:

Pasta Salad

Boil a box of whole grain rotini, drain stir in some olive oil to keep it from turning into a noodle loaf. Then chill in the refrigerator. When the noodles are cold, add half a bag of baby spinach, a jar of pine nuts, and some cherry tomatoes cut in fourths. Then mix in Newman's Own Caesar Dressing to taste (the vinaigrette type, not the creamy type.)

And the chocolate pudding is a family secret. I will say it is thickened with flour, not cornstarch, and you have to use Hershey's cocoa. The store brand just isn't chocolatey enough.
