I am a SAHM to three beautiful little girls. I married my perfect match. He truly is my better half. Since meeting him and starting a family, I have had to learn how to cook. However,
our family has continued to grow and grow and I just don't have the time (or knowledge) to cook fancy meals. So here is my food blog.
Easy recipes that anyone could do. And I mean anyone. If I can cook the meals on here, so can you. And please, if you have a recipe you think I might like, feel free to send it to me. I am always on the hunt for new recipes.
And don't forget comments!! I love comments!!
Have a recipe you think I should try? Please e-mail it to me at CookingForSlackers@yahoo.com Be sure to add your contact info in case I use your recipe on this site I want to be sure to
give you credit.
2) You're a genius! I never would have thought to use cupcake papers to separate the foods, but they're so perfect!!
All of my kids meals are basically like Bento boxes -- just without the box, lol. I've been using the little bowls from Ikea for meals at home, and using little Rubbermaid containers for lunches for school, but I think your idea will be sooo much easier!!!

We love our Bentos. I can serve the exact same meal at home and the girls would barely touch it. Put it in the Bentoa all organized and they eat the whole thing.
I bought some of these off eBay and then others were bought at local Asian stores. I use cute paper cupcake dividers if I can find them but I also have some rubber ones I got from Michaels but have also seen at Target and Walmart. Some cute little plastic toothpicks work great for "Kabobs" for the older kids. And I just got my first Egg Mold this week to try to make cute looking Hard Boiled Eggs. I also got these little Hello Kitty containers for ranch to dip veggies in.
Be sure to check out my Blog Roll on the left. The Bento Blog is my GF who introduced me to all of this. She is actually the Bento Queen. LOL
Two things:
1) Where did you get those Bento boxes??
