Slow Cooker Orange chicken

You will see I love my slow cooker. By the time dinner rolls around, I am usually too tired to cook anything fancy. So it is easier for me to cook it during the day (while the kids are in school) and put it in the crockpot and then it is ready when we are ready to eat.

So tonight is

Slow Cooker Orange Chicken
1/2 C BBQ Sauce
1/4 C Flour
1/4 C Orange Juice
1/4 C Orange Marmalade
3 Tbsp Soy Sauce
1 tsp Ginger Root
1 tsp Orange Zest
1 package chicken strips

Stir BBQ Sauce and Flour in a small bowl with a wire whisk till well blended
Add all remaining ingredients except the chicken.
Mix well.
Pour sauce mixture evenly over the chicken inn the crockpot. (Do not stir). Cover with lid.
Cook on LOW for 3 to 5 hours.
Serve chicken topped with sauce.

We like to serve it over white rice with a side of Edamame.

This is what it looked like before it started cooking.

And my plate. Sadly, I burned the chicken. Figures, the day I am taking photos. I was in a bit of a hurry and put it on high, not low. So what ever you do, do not cook it on high. LOW LOW LOW for 3-5 hours.
